Refund policy
Custom labels are printed to your order, so we do not restock or resell them. That means custom orders are not returnable. What we do instead is stand behind the print.
The Goat guarantee
If your labels do not match the proof you approved, we reprint them free. Tell us within 30 days of delivery.
What the guarantee covers
- We printed something other than your approved proof
- Print defects: misregistration, streaking, banding, bad die cut
- Wrong size, wrong material, wrong quantity shipped
- Damage in transit
What it does not cover
Errors that were in the proof you approved. That includes typos, wrong phone numbers, low resolution artwork and colors that were wrong in your file. Read your proof closely. It is the last checkpoint before the press.
Color
Screens and presses do not match exactly. Small color shift between your monitor and the printed label is normal and is not a defect. If exact color matters, tell us before you order and we will talk through options.
How to start a claim
Email hello@thelabelgoat.com with your order number and a photo of the problem. We reply within one business day.
Stock products
Unopened stock labels, sheets and ribbons can be returned within 30 days for a refund. Shipping is not refunded.
Cancelling
You can cancel any time before you approve your proof, for a full refund. Once a job is on press we cannot cancel it.
